Thistledown SoundFX

This small archive contains updated as well as additional files, which will add a sound track to the Thistledown animation you've already downloaded.

The simplest plan is to unpack the archive to RAM: Then, open the ThistledownUpdate directory, where you should find the following:

A new RUN icon. This will load the anim file into RAM (if sufficient) before executing.
A directory called SFX containing two .wav files
A new Thistledown.anim.Index file
A Thistledown.anim.Sound file

Just drag/copy these four items into the main Thistledown directory. Workbench will ask if you wish to replace existing files. Click 'Replace All' and that's it.

Run the Thistledown animation by double-clicking the updated RUN icon. If everything's gone to plan, you should now have SoundFX. Sorry it's only in native Amiga (Paula) output. MainActor doesn't support sound cards.

The sound track was compiled from tape recordings. To do this, I recorded various 'birds and bees' sounds using a simple cassette recorder. I then 'recorded' several .wav files from the tapes using AHIRecord v1.7. These .wav files were then mixed using Samplitude Opus. By the way, the 'cuckoo' is me! Finding a cuckoo when you need one is quite difficult!
