Welcome to IntuitionBase.com, this site is here to provide all the information you may require to learn about and use an AmigaOne with OS4. You will find information about all the different models of AmigaOne that are currently available. You'll also find information on compatible hardware, available software as well as some information and screenshot about AmigaOS4.

I decided to create this site after I got tired having to visit several sites to find anything out, I thought "we really need a dedicated information site" and so the site was born. Luckily for me a friend of mine Andy Hall was creating a site for a university project and he created exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately he wasn't looking at making it a real site, just a mockup of what it could be for his course. So after some conversation we agreed I would take the design off of his hands and turn it into a functioning site and after several months of work it is pretty much functioning.

Now I can see your all wondering about the name... It wasn't my idea, it was Andy's and it comes from the programming world, IntuitionBase is used to open the intuition library. I like the name so I stuck with it.

The Team

The team has changed quite radically over the development time. I originally started with one group of people and ended up with a completely different set. Unfortunately it's hard to find people with time on their hands to help out with such a project. Currently the team consists of:

Yours truly, Darren Glenn aka Ryu. I am the Webmaster and I'll be handling the day-to- day running of the site so if you have any questions contact me.

Antti Korhola, the man behind most of the php and sql of the site.

John Nelson, a relative new comer but he's added much needed coding support.

And last but by no means least there's Jonathan Haddock, he's trying to help with the coding as well as helping with the data input involved.

We are all long time Amiga users and Antti has an AmigaOne and Jonathan has a Micro-AmigaOne, I hope to get a micro myself.
